Assalamualaikum. Welcome to my blog. I am Izzatul Alia Binti Isa, from Sentul Kuala Lumpur. Yes, my home is quite close to UIA. It takes about 15 minutes and about 5 km away. My matric number 2123046.

Before this I am taking a Certificate in Early Childhood Education then I further my study in Diploma in Early Childhood Education at International Islamic College that is also under IIUM. I got exposed to theory a lot so I want to know deeply about human personalities, behaviour and so on , then I continue my studies in Bachelor of Education in Guidance and Counselling in my university's wishlist in Malaysia. This is one of the best decisions I ever made. Before I came here, to be honest, I was quite scared because I had high expectations about IIUM, but then I feel so grateful that in a month I was able to adapt with the surroundings. Thanks a lot to the lecture and friends that helped me through my first year here. I feel so grateful to have Prof Dr Suhaimi as my lecturer for this subject and hopefully everything went well throughout this semester.

17 May 2023     As per Prof Dr Suhaimi has informed us, on 17 May 2023 we will be having a mid term test which covers from topic week 1 to week 9 and the percentage for this test was 15%. Before start the quiz, Dr has provided us the google link form to answers the question. There are about 55 questions provided with 53 multiple choice questions and the rest were short answers. One of the short questions was asked to describe our sustainable group project. My group members have decided to choose “Declutter and Save Storage For Used Clothes in IIUM Gombak” for our project. The more stuff we have, the more waste we produce. But when we declutter it forces you to take a closer look at your spending and living habits.  3 May 2023  Today's topic is mainly focused on two SDGs which are SDG 16 and SDG 17. Goal 16 is about promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, providing access to justice for all and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. People everywhere should be free of fear from all forms of violence and feel safe as they go about their lives whatever their ethnicity, faith or sexual orientation.  High levels of armed violence and insecurity have a destructive impact on a country’s development. Sexual violence, crime, exploitation and torture are prevalent where there is conflict or no rule of law. Governments, civil society and communities need to work together to find lasting solutions to conflict and insecurity. 19 April 2023 Today’s class Prof Dr Suhaimi asked us to watch a recorded lecture and write comments based on that video.After I watched the lecture, I have learned about three important figures of challenges to sustainability development which are economic, social and environmental that give big impact in our lives. These 3 aspects have their own challenges that we should cater to and look into to provide a better future for our next generations. There are 4 general challenges that give inequalities to those less fortunate in terms of educational resources, health facilities, food and clean water.
